Nothing like some tambourine to liven things up. Spent the early part of the session Addison some percussion to a few tracks. Never really tired to lay down a tambourine part before, but I figured if little Tracy could cut it on the “Partridge Family,” then how hard could it be?
Seriously, it’s not as simple as some may think to really get a good groove going. My hat is off to all the professional and talented percussion players. It is an underrated skill.
After some percussion, Alex Ramos came by to add some amazing backing vocals to a few tracks. I met Alex earlier this year and did some live sets with her at some “Already Taken” shows. We’ve been talking about her providing some backing vocal tracks for my project, and the day finally came. Alex is a great additional this project, adding some much needed texture.
