“Don’t Stop Now,” the newest single from Joe Dadio, is steeped in the pianist’s seventies influences while still sounding fresh and contemporary. Dadio’s classic rock piano sound weaves throughout the track, supplemented by layered harmonies and memorable leads that harken back to a time when “singer-songwriter” was a genre all unto itself.
A strong vocal melody and catchy refrain are the the icing on top of a foundation laid down by a rhythm section comprised of the songwriter’s Already Taken bandmates.
The result is a musical piece that combines the best sonic elements of a working band with the freedom and voice of a solo artist.

Lyrics
Sitting in a corner like some queen upon a throne
No one could have warned her she was staring at her phone
A furtive glance, it came by chance
A burning light in a limitless ocean
hit her right between the eyes
set all things into motion
Don’t Stop Now
starting to get just a little bit warmer
You don’t know how
the road may be likely to bend
Don’t Stop Now
Fate has been waiting around the next corner
You don’t know how
Your story is likely to end
Sitting on the sidelines like some jester without a court
Hoping just to kill some time it was all a last resort
A look around and then he found
an instant spark and a chance connection
Standing there before his eyes
A vision of perfection
Don’t Stop Now
starting to get just a little bit warmer
You don’t know how
the road may be likely to bend
Don’t Stop Now
Fate has been waiting around the next corner
You don’t know how
Your story is likely to end
